About Slow Food
The global non-profit organisation Slow Food was founded in 1989 to counter the disappearance of local food traditions and people’s decreasing interest in the food they eat. Slow Food’s mission includes the promotion of good, clean and fair food for all. Nowadays more than 100,000 members support Slow Food in 150 countries worldwide.
The Slow Food Youth Network (SFYN) represents youth and youth's initiatives within the organisation.
